At first I went in search for a metallic for the black and grey because I had a general idea of what I was thinking with the colors I found within the image. Then I found these! And they have each color in my palette! After I realized that they have fabrics that match my colors my mind went into overdrive.

My thinking was that these would make an amazing modern geometric quilt with lots of negative space done in the black! I envisioned a quilt pattern similar to these. Lots of negative space with room in between so that the colors really popped. I think any of these patterns would look wonderful in the fabrics above.

Okey dokey, now onto my actual fabric choices for this week.
I absolutely adore that Butterfly fabric from Hoffman Fabrics! So much so I decided to make it the focal and the rest just tonals and my original idea went poof right out the window again! LOL Here’s the fabrics from top to bottom:

I much prefer the new fabrics to your original idea, nice as it was. The butterflies will certain add pizzazz to things!
🙂 Thank you. I adore butterflies and try to use them whenever possible. The Maggie’s First Dance BOM by Jacquelynne Steves I’m also basing on a butterfly print I’m using in a thick border. It will be for my youngest once it’s done.
